YOU RELOCATE YOUR BUSINESS
TO ANGEL FIRE, NEW MEXICO?
HIGH TECH
The Angel Fire area provides all the necessary
ingredients for the successful location or relocation of a high-tech company.
The most striking of the mix is the breathtaking scenery, clean air, myriad
of activities and cultural events that Angel Fire has to offer. Creativity flourishes
in such an environment. But the other ingredients, usually found only in cities
are here also. Fine schools with many opportunities to excel are an integral
part of the community. The technology infrastructure with fiber-optic cable
and ISDN lines is in place with ATM frame relay scheduled for the end of 1999.
The workforce is becoming more technology oriented while ongoing training programs
are available for employees. The State of New Mexico has been helping area entrepreneurs
with various funding programs. The State is eager to develop rural New Mexico
and the amount of funding available is often double that of urban areas. Other
funds are available including local venture capital. There is a growing entrepreneurial
base that has considerable experience in marketing high-tech from an alpine
village. The community has an expanding awareness of the need to enlarge this
base of entrepreneurs and has mobilized to help relocate businesses. The Angel
