Association Of Angel Fire Property Owners (AAFPO) AAFPO was formed as the successor to the organization that represented all property owners during the 1993-1995 Angel Fire Corporate bankruptcy proceedings which resulted in purchase of the Resort by the current owners. Every property owner, except the Developer, is a member of AAFPO. The purposes of AAFPO are: to enforce the bankruptcy protective covenants and restrictions as they are recorded or as they may be amended; to review and approve the Resort's annual operating budget; to function as the Environmental and Architectural committee; and serve as liaison between the community and the general public to protect the interests of the members of the community. A nine person Board of Directors and five standing committees serve the approximately 6000 AAFPO members. The standing committees interface daily with the Resort and the community in such areas as the operation and use of amenities, budget reviews and dues assessments, environmental and architectural control, and community development.
